Registration for the event, which will take place on 9 May in Santander, is now open.
On 9 May 2025, the EvaluAES Group of the Association of Health Economics (AES), coordinated by Biosistemak, will hold its 14th Workshop at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital (HUMV) in Santander. This event, which has become a benchmark in the evaluation of health policies and services, will feature the participation of two Biosistemak researchers: Ania Gorostiza as speaker and Borja García-Lorenzo as coordinator.
Ania Gorostiza, statistician at Biosistemak, will present the evaluation of the AdLife project, an innovative initiative in personalised care for patients with chronic diseases, which ended in November 2024. The work will be commented on by José Lorenzo Guerra Díez, head of the HUMV Emergency Unit.
Likewise, from September 2024, Biosistemak will coordinate the EvaluAES Group, focused on the evaluation of public health policies, through the researcher Borja García-Lorenzo. This appointment reinforces Biosistemak’s commitment to research into the quality and efficiency of health systems from the perspective of the Economics of Health.
