The final version was presented to attendees at the closing conference on 24 October 2018 in Brussels. During the event, in addition to the online \u201cSCIROCCO Tool\u201d, the methodology designed for its application and the experience of regions when they used it were presented.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <\/span><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">SCIROCCO<\/strong><span style=\"text-align: justify;\"> (<\/span><a style=\"text-align: justify;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.scirocco-project.eu\/\">http:\/\/www.scirocco-project.eu\/<\/a><span style=\"text-align: justify;\">) European Project started in 2016 with the aim of creating a validated and proven tool that facilitates scaling-up of integrated care solutions among different regions in Europe. The \u201cSCIROCCO Tool\u201d comprises 12 dimensions, which are key in integrated care. It enables a multi-dimensional assessment of the maturity of the regions in terms of adopting integrated care solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kronikgune has led one of the project&#8217;s work packages. It has been in charge of obtaining the maturity requirements regarding good practice in the regions involved in the project. The Basque Country has been one of the five regions that tested the \u201cScirocco Tool\u201d. The following organisations from Osakidetza have taken part: Araba IHO, Bilbao-Basurto, IHO Barrualde-Galdakao IHO, Donostialdea IHO, Santa Marina Hospital and the Integrated Care and Chronicity Service of the Directorate General.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project&#8217;s closing conference was attended by a great number of people, both members of the consortium and representatives of the European Commission and the World Health Organization. The event could also be followed live through the project\u2019s website.
