Key issues were also addressed regarding the quality and preparation of clinical data for use in artificial intelligence ( ), as well as guidelines for the healthcare sector\u2019s adaptation to <strong>the<\/strong> new <strong>European Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This approach is in line with the Institute\u2019s experience within the recently completed European <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/xt-ehr-data-space-for-primary-use\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Xt EHR@EU Data Space<\/a><\/strong><\/span> project, which aimed to strengthen the interoperability and use of electronic health data in the European context, particularly in the field of cross-border telemedicine.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, aspects related to the preparation and quality of clinical data for its application in artificial intelligence were analysed, as well as practical guidelines for the healthcare sector\u2019s adaptation to <strong>the<\/strong> new <strong>European Artificial Intelligence Regulation (EU AI Act) <\/strong>and the governance frameworks necessary to ensure safe use in compliance with European regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Participating as an attendee has enabled Biosistemak to identify global trends in digital health \u2014 particularly in the EHDS, interoperability and artificial intelligence \u2014 and to keep its strategic knowledge up to date, strengthening its ability to anticipate challenges and opportunities in the transformation of the healthcare
