Biosistemak at Mobile World Congress 2026<\/h1>\n

Our director, Ane Fullaondo, was invited to the 4 Years From Now healthcare innovation space, organised by Boehringer Ingelheim.<\/h4>\n

On 3 March, the Institute participated in 4 Years From Now (4YFN) 2026<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, the digital innovation and entrepreneurship space held as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC)<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in Barcelona. Our scientific director, Ane Fullaondo<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, was invited as a speaker to the panel “Changing health together: driving value through the digitalisation of the healthcare system”, organised by Boehringer Ingelheim<\/a><\/strong><\/span> on the Sky Stage in Hall 8 of Fira Gran Via.<\/p>\n

During her participation in the round table discussion “Spain in action: data-driven innovation in healthcare management<\/strong>“, Fullaondo shared Biosistemak’s<\/a><\/strong><\/span> vision of the evolution of healthcare systems towards more predictive, personalised and value-based models.<\/p>\n

His participation also highlighted the Institute’s role as an international benchmark in healthcare systems research, data governance and the development of stratification tools and predictive models applied to real practice.<\/p>\n

A strategic dialogue with key voices from the healthcare ecosystem<\/h3>\n

The panel brought together heads of various regional health services, leading hospitals and experts in health law and management, including Joaqu\u00edn Cay\u00f3n<\/a><\/span> (IDIVAL<\/a><\/span>)<\/strong>, Alfredo Silva<\/a><\/span> (SERGAS<\/a><\/span>) <\/strong>and Sonia Garc\u00eda de San Jos\u00e9<\/a><\/span> (Gregorio Mara\u00f1\u00f3n Hospital<\/a><\/span>)<\/strong>. The presentations addressed regulatory challenges, technology adoption, interoperability and the move towards a more results-oriented model of care.<\/p>\n

The session was part of a broader programme that included a conversation on the Estonian health data model, an additional panel dedicated to value-based solutions, and an institutional closing by the Ministry of Health<\/strong><\/a>. The meeting facilitated the exchange of experiences and reinforced the importance of collaboration between public bodies, research centres and companies in the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>
