They are made up of in-house or affiliated staff who, regardless of their institution of origin, share scientific affinities and carry out their activities under the direction of the Principal Investigator responsible for each group. Each group is defined by a specific theme and operates within one of the Institute&#8217;s <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/nosotros\/areas-de-investigacion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">research areas<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Detailed information and access to researchers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section includes six active groups, each with a detailed file offering a brief description of their lines of research and contact information for the Principal Investigator and other research staff. These files include links to the professional profiles of all members (<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.euskadi.eus\/biblioteca-sanitaria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Virtual Health Library<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/orcid.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ORCID<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/10095214\/admin\/dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong><\/span>), their position, workplace and photograph, thus facilitating the identification and understanding of the research team.<\/p>\n<p>The groups and their areas are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/grupo-de-investigacion-salud-digital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital health<\/a><\/span>:<\/strong> use of information and communication technologies to improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment and health management.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/grupo-de-investigacion-reutilizacion-de-datos-de-practica-asistencial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuse of healthcare practice data<\/a><\/span>:<\/strong> generation of complementary evidence from real data collected in routine healthcare practice.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/grupo-de-investigacion-servicios-de-salud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Health services<\/a><\/span>:<\/strong> analysis and evaluation of healthcare processes and outcomes, and development of tools for clinical and management decision-making.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/grupo-de-investigacion-atencion-basada-en-el-valor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Value-based care<\/a><\/span>:<\/strong> management of healthcare systems connecting health and economic outcomes, benchmarking and value-based financing models.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/grupo-de-investigacion-implementacion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Implementation<\/a><\/span>:<\/strong> effective large-scale transfer of effective healthcare interventions to real-world settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bio-sistemak.eus\/grupo-de-investigacion-servicios-de-salud-en-enfermedades-cronicas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Healthcare services for chronic diseases<\/a><\/span>:<\/strong> development of predictive models, tools to assess quality of life and application of qualitative techniques and advanced statistics in chronic diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With this new section, Biosistemak reinforces its commitment to transparency and collaboration, showcasing the human talent behind the research and promoting greater
