The EvaluAES group, coordinated by Biosistemak, launches the programme for its 14th Workshop<\/h1>\n

Registration for the event, which will take place on 9 May in Santander, is now open.<\/h4>\n

On 9 May 2025<\/strong>, the EvaluAES Group<\/strong> of the Association of Health Economics (AES)<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, coordinated by Biosistemak<\/strong>, will hold its 14th Workshop<\/strong> at the Marqu\u00e9s de Valdecilla University Hospital (HUMV) <\/a><\/strong><\/span>in Santander. This event, which has become a benchmark in the evaluation of health policies and services, will feature the participation of two Biosistemak researchers: Ania Gorostiza<\/strong> as speaker and Borja Garc\u00eda-Lorenzo<\/strong> as coordinator.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ania Gorostiza<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, statistician at Biosistemak<\/strong>, will present the evaluation of the AdLife<\/a><\/strong><\/span> project, an innovative initiative in personalised care for patients with chronic diseases, which ended in November 2024. The work will be commented on by Jos\u00e9 Lorenzo Guerra D\u00edez<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, head of the HUMV Emergency Unit.<\/p>\n

Likewise, from September 2024<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, Biosistemak will coordinate the EvaluAES Group<\/strong>, focused on the evaluation of public health policies, through the researcher Borja Garc\u00eda-Lorenzo<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. This appointment reinforces Biosistemak’s commitment to research into the quality and efficiency of health systems from the perspective of the Economics of Health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A benchmark in health evaluation<\/h3>\n

The 14th EvaluAES Workshop<\/strong> is a leading event for the presentation and discussion of research in the field of health policy and service evaluation. The programme of<\/a><\/strong><\/span> events will include presentations of papers, debates and networking sessions, with the aim of promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences among professionals in the sector.<\/p>\n

Registration is now open and can be done via this link: Registration XIV EvaluAES Workshop<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. Places for the face-to-face modality are limited (40 people), so it is recommended to register in advance.<\/p>\n

The EvaluAES Group <\/a><\/strong><\/span>is an initiative of the Association of Health Economics<\/strong> that promotes research and the dissemination of methodologies and results in the evaluation of health policies and services. Its work contributes to the continuous improvement of health systems and evidence-based
