The conference will be held from the 1st to the 3rd\u00a0 of November 2022 in Boston, USA. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

ICHOM is the International Congress on Health Outcomes Measurement<\/strong> celebrating its 10th anniversary. It is the world’s leading congress on value-based healthcare<\/strong>. During three days, the congress will bring together delegations from different health systems, care providers, patient associations, industry, and research centers to explore issues related to the future of health systems in terms of the new value-based care model, current demographic, epidemiological and social challenges, the potential of digital solutions and services, equitable and inclusive care, new financing models, among others.<\/p>\n

The Scientific Coordinator of Kronikgune, Ane Fullaondo,<\/strong> has been a member of the conference Advisory Board<\/strong> (https:\/\/conference.ichom.org\/cpac\/<\/a>). In addition, during the conference, she will participate in a specific session on the VOICE European Learning Community<\/strong><\/a>. This community, made up of 13 European hospitals, seeks to guide health services in their reorganization towards providing care of maximum value for the patient at the best cost. Targeted at breast and lung cancer patients, the project aims to create a new innovative strategic framework based on a value-based healthcare model for these patients in Europe. The methodological process carried out to benchmark hospitals during the session will be shared. Likewise, the platform that is being developed and the preliminary results of the community in relation to breast cancer patients, focused on the perception of patients (Patient-Related Outcomes PROMs), use of resources, and indicators of the care process will be shown.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Health of the Basque Government, Gotzone Sagardui<\/strong>, and a delegation from the Department of Health will also attend the congress. The Minister will participate in a round table together with other authorities from around the world, where she will present the Basque Health System and the different initiatives that are being developed in the Basque Country in the field of health and more specifically in the field of value-based medicine, including patient satisfaction and safety.<\/p>\n
