The central theme of this seventh edition is &#8220;<strong>Well-being for all<\/strong>&#8220;, which according to Dr. Michael Steger, director of IPPA, means &#8220;broadening the science of well-being and happiness to try to include all voices and all perspectives on what it means to lead a worthwhile life&#8221;. Thus for him this concept represents &#8220;building, honing and using skills and knowledge of each other to help address the many challenges we face today as a global community, and threaten people&#8217;s well-being.&#8221; Leading experts in the science, practice and education of positive psychology and well-being from around the world are expected to gather to share knowledge, experiences and research projects on this subject.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Kronikgune<\/strong> will participate in the colloquium organized by the partners from the <strong>European project\u00a0 UPRIGHT<\/strong>. Under the title &#8220;<em>UPRIGHT &#8211; Universal Preventive Resilience Intervention Applied Globally in Schools to Improve and Promote Adolescent Mental Health<\/em>&#8220;, Kronikgune will present the mental health outcomes of the sample of adolescents (12-14 years old) from five European countries that have participated in the project, as well as the preliminary results of the impact that COVID-19 has generated on the mental health of these adolescents. With a presentation entitled &#8220;<em>Adolescent mental health in Europe in turbulent times<\/em>&#8220;, he will share the preliminary results obtained from the intervention carried out during 2018 and 2019, in which a representative sample of 3767 adolescents attending schools in 5 European countries, self-completed a battery of psychometrically sound questionnaires to assess both their degree of mental health and their degree of poor mental health and behavioral problems.
