\nEuropean health and care systems are facing common challenges, such as identifying and developing innovative solutions that may in the future help to alleviate the pressure on healthcare organizations or re-evaluating the role of hospitals in society by presenting an innovative vision of the role and activities of hospitals in the society of the future. These challenges require disruptive and coordinated solutions from healthcare organizations and providers. Addressing these challenges and problems requires coordinated actions involving all stakeholders in the design, research, policy and deployment processes.<\/p>\n
The European Commission has created the THCS partnership, in order to generate new knowledge on organization, governance, financing and care models, and to support the process of implementation and dissemination of best practices for the transformation of health and care systems.<\/p>\n

<\/a>In the framework of the THCS will be launched a Joint Transnational Call (JTC) to finance innovative R&D projects, implementation, coordination and support, and innovation in health and care management. The R&D&I activities to be funded will be aligned with the partnership prioritization strategy and the recommendations of the AWP (Annual Work Plan), taking into account both the thematic and structural priorities and the blocks of the SRIA and aligned with the annual work plan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/i>Main objetive<\/h4><\/a><\/li>

- WP1 Governance and Annual Work Plan: <\/strong>The establishment\u00a0and coordination of a high-level Advisory Board to ensure representativeness of stakeholders from different sectors of the European health and ensure representativeness of stakeholders from different sectors of European health and care policy, research and innovation organizations. An Annual Work Plan (AWP) will be developed to ensure progress over the seven years in a coherent<\/li>\n
- WP2 Management and coordination<\/strong>: Ensure the coordination, strategic and administrative management of THCS, including results monitoring, impact assessment, ethical evaluation and data management, in cooperation with the different governance bodies involved in the<\/li>\n
- WP3<\/strong> Strategic<\/strong> relationships and maximization of impact<\/strong>: Promote synergies with relevant external collaborators and stakeholders in order to avoid duplication of investments, work and related activities. Implementation of communication and dissemination actions to increase the visibility of the THCS and its impact on all agents of the health<\/li>\n

- WP7 Joint Transnational Call Secretariat: <\/strong>ensure sound coordination, administration and management of the Joint Call Secretariat (JCS) which will execute the yearly JTCs launched by THCS<\/li>\n
- WP8 Project Monitoring and Assessment of Projects\u2019 results and Impact: <\/strong>Monitoring and Assessment (M&A) is intended to provide information that is reliable and useful on the projects that have been funded by THCS, enabling the researchers to improve and increase the impact of their work, on one hand, and providing the RFOs and the beneficiary organizations analysis of challenges, impacts and a route to translate results and lessons learned into the decision and policy-making processes.<\/li>\n
- WP9 Strengthening ecosystems: <\/strong>Establish communication and collaboration activities so that the needs of stakeholders are reflected in R&D projects and the transformation of health and care systems is<\/li>\n
