At the same time, between 26 and 30 October, the <strong>Euskalduna Conference Centre in Bilbao <\/strong>will host the conference at which advanced<strong> management in strategies, clients, persons, innovation and society will be debated and discussed.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 29 October, the <strong>Basque government&#8217;s Head of Health Research and Innovation<\/strong>, <strong>Mar\u00eda Aguirre<\/strong>, will host a meeting on the \u201c<strong>Citizen participation and involvement in advanced management<\/strong>\u201d. The meeting will star with a presentation on the new <strong>health R&amp;D&amp;<\/strong><strong>I strategy for the <\/strong><strong>Basque Country. <\/strong>The leaders of five strategic projects will show how innovation contributes to the continual transformation and improvement of the Basque health system.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting <strong>\u201cCitizen participation and involvement in advanced management\u201d<\/strong>, organised by the <strong>Basque government&#8217;s Department of Health<\/strong>, <strong>BIOEF<\/strong>, <strong>Osakidetza<\/strong> and <strong>Kronikgune<\/strong> will comprise the following presentations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>A project to encourage citizen participation in the health system<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The Basque biobank: an essential research tool<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Kronik On: patient empowerment in the care of multiply co-morbid patients<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Innovation in management systems: integrated R&amp;D&amp;I management<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Innovation in a social\/health setting<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Kronikgune<\/strong> will present \u201c<strong>Kronik ON: patient empowerment in the care of multiply co-morbid patients<\/strong>\u201d. This is a structured <strong>empowerment programme<\/strong> mainly undertaken by nursing professionals with the collaboration and involvement of patients and their caregivers.
